Values & Service
TER believes it’s vital for the energy industry to effectively communicate with tribal entities who are impacted by their projects.

We are committed to working with energy companies to provide tribes the opportunity to participate in the cultural resource element of energy infrastructure projects.

Co-Founders Bobby Gonzales and Lou Thompson are tribal relations specialists. Experienced with NEPA, the NHPA, and NAGPRA regulations, we help companies identify and minimize project impacts to tribal communities. We also help tribes protect important cultural resources like sacred, religious and historic sites, burial areas, and places of spiritual renewal.

TER is an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise. We specialize in tribal engagement for energy infrastructure projects and providing archaeology services to federal agencies. We offer energy companies services including cultural resource surveys and construction tribal monitoring programs. We also give government agencies state-of-the-art archaeological services combining tribal engagement.

A key component of our work: we provide tribes with the opportunity to participate as tribal monitors during construction. This reduces potential project impacts to known or previously unidentified historic properties. TER is a member of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA), the Native American Chamber of Commerce, and the Cushing, Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce.
